The Henry Ford Hospital Nurse Residency Program is a year-long transition-to-practice program for newly licensed nurses. Each year, four cohorts of approximately 35 residents complete the program, culminating in an evidence-based practice (EBP) or quality improvement (QI) project. Through research and implementation of best practices, these projects contribute to improved patient outcomes, enhanced patient safety, and increased nursing safety and satisfaction. The projects below are the works of graduates of Cohort 36.
