Abstract
•TAVI use in Latin America remains markedly lower than in the United States and Europe.•The study analyzed 1250 elderly patients undergoing aortic valve interventions in Chile (2019-2023).•TAVI was used in 55% of patients 75 years or older undergoing valve interventions.•TAVI cut in-hospital mortality by ∼46% vs. SAVR.•There is a need for wider TAVI access across emergent countries.
