Abstract

Key Teaching Points: Septal hematoma should be recognized as a potential complication of pacemaker implantation. It should be suspected in patients who present with chest pain, electrocardiogram changes, or hemodynamic instability following the procedure. Echocardiography and cardiac catheterization are valuable tools for diagnosing and assessing the condition. Management ranges from conservative observation to interventional procedures, depending on the severity of the hematoma and the patient's stability. Close follow-up with echocardiography is essential to monitor for potential complications.
