The MIRL (Medical Institutional Repositories in Libraries) symposium planning committee is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the fifth annual free virtual event, scheduled to take place on Zoom on Thursday, November 20, 2025. A symposium program is forthcoming.
MIRL 2025 will feature a keynote panel of library leaders discussing topics relevant to a medical IR community.
Panelists include Nicole Contaxis (NYU Health Sciences Library), Colin Lukens (Harvard Library), and Dina McKelvy (MaineHealth), and the session will be moderated by MIRL Planning Committee member Pam Pierce (Oregon Health & Science University).MIRL is a platform-neutral conference for IR practitioners and those with an interest in IRs at hospitals, academic medical centers, and other health settings to discuss and share case studies and best practices for digital archiving of institutional content.
