The Medical Institutional Repositories in Libraries (MIRL) Symposium focuses on Institutional Repository (IR) management, curation, and promotion in a health sciences environment. MIRL is a platform-neutral conference. The goal of MIRL is to gather together IR practitioners and those with an interest in IRs at hospitals, academic medical centers, and other health settings for discussions and sharing of case studies and best practices for digital archiving of institutional content.

The MIRL Symposium is free to attend and open to all.

Thank you to all who attended the 2025 MIRL Symposium!

We are grateful for our community and for this year's presenters for an excellent symposium. Presentation slides are now available - check back soon for video recordings!

Panelists included Nicole Contaxis (NYU Health Sciences Library), Colin Lukens (Harvard Library), and Dina McKelvy and Maegan Halica (MaineHealth), and the session was moderated by MIRL Planning Committee member Pam Pierce (Oregon Health & Science University).
