Abstract

With externships accounting for one-fourth or one-third of an audiology student’s education, it is important students make the right choice of an externship site. The Audiology Clinical Education Network is a collaborative effort among externship sites to give students a standardized process to interview, apply, and accept offers—resulting in more informed decisions for the student, their academic program, and the externship site.
