Description
Upon starting her new position as Archivist of Historical Collections at the University of Virginia's Claude Moore Health Sciences Library, the presenter realized she needed to revamp her library's web archives program after it had been paused for almost a year. As the solo archivist at the library, the presenter's job responsibilities stretch across collection management, reference, outreach, and engagement; adding web archivist to those plethora of duties meant that she would need a strong project management workflow to keep her on track. In this lightning talk, the presenter will discuss how she overhauled the program, what tools she used for project management, how she reappraised collections, and the present status of the program. Most importantly, she'll talk about how this experience inspired her to co-found a virtual co-working space for web archives called Webjam.
