Abstract

Learning Objectives Case base review of atypical causes of ureteral and bladder obstruction. Background As we all know the most common cause of flank pain and hematuria presenting to the ER is due to urolithiasis (1). For bladder obstruction it is usually due to an enlarged prostate (2). Our goal is to show some of the unusual causes of ureteral and bladder obstruction that presented to our ER. Content Case base review of images as attached. Summary It is important for radiologists to recognize the typical and atypical causes of ureteral/bladder obstruction and to help faciliate proper followup as clinically warranted.
